ABOUT THE DESIGN

My goal was to create a fun and whimsical work with visual puns. The beautiful octopus neighboring panel and Houston’s coastal location inspired the playful reef scene. Occupants of the sea include a sawfish, a parrot fish, a catfish, rainbow trout, starfish, lemon shark and a swordfish. I was assisted by Grant Griffin and Analise Meyers.
